Rebuilding the failed attempt on getting the Coos #NAS up and running.
I took it out, completely from the cluster case and rigged up the needed cabling.
I built the server and imaged the final build.
For the fan, I plugged the red wire into a 1.5 volt GPIO header (Pin 1) and the negative into Pin 6 (Black).
It's running great, now. But, I did have an access issue, at first. added a couple of lines of code I found while researching solutions and that fixed it to the degree where I can, at least access the drive in Linux Mint. Windows has no issue, at all, thankfully.

I've tried my best to be a good maintainer to #pixelfed, and for the most part I've been really lucky to have such a supportive community.
That being said, negative feedback really hurts. I take it personally.
And that's not a bad thing because I'm able to fix it in most cases, and make the user(s) happy.
I finally fixed the most prominent bug in Metro 2.0, full width previews, and it really means a lot to me that users are happy with it.
Pixelfed really is powered by the people.

What you see, here, is the #raspberrypi cluster case. I'm getting ready to rebuild the NAS (Network Attached Storage) drive that was there once, before. I'm rebuilding it because the original went corrupt and, simply, no longer worked. No matter what I tried, it failed to operate, at all.
So, here you see the latest attempt in progress. I've imaged the newly released 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS. Wiped the hard drive, partitioned it and physically connected back to Gefion. Tomorrow, I fire this puppy back up and configure it.
Hopefully, THEN, it will work alright.

Out of commission but still trying to be somewhat productive with little tech projects.
I downloaded and imaged the new #raspberrypi 64 bit OS. That will receive op testing on "Coos," soon. And. Op testing for me is just letting it run.
My existing 32 bit file server is being a butt.
I don't have anything to post on @pixelfed because, you know, a pic of a screen in kinda boring. Maybe pics of the #raspberrypi cluster case all disheveled would satisfy.
We'll see.
